A bulldozer is a kind of excavating construction equipment, whose main feature is presence of a blade (more or less vertical shield mounted beyond the wheelbase of the vehicle).

In fact, the base for the bulldozer is a tractor or a tractor unit, whose main working body has a hydraulic (less often, in older models - electromechanic) blade control system. For the most part, these vehicles have tracked undercarriage, which allows, due to increased off-road performance and excellent force transfer, effectively performing operations, regardless of the type and condition of the soil and terrain relief.
