BACKHOE LOADERS: MAIN FEATURES AND CHARACTERISTICS
A backhoe loader is a type of self-propelled earth-moving construction equipment, it is a synthesis of an excavator and a wheel loader.
As a matter of fact, the backhoe loader is a two-axle rubber-tyred tractor, on which two booms are mounted as the working bodies: in the front (relative to the axis of the vehicle movement), there is a luffing jib similar to that of the front loader, and in the rear part there is the excavator's backhoe. Control of the vehicle movement and of both arrows operation is fully implemented from the operator's cabin.
Presence of both the backhoe and the front loader's boom in the construction provides for the possibility of mounting a huge range of different types of attachments - buckets of various types and capacity, blades and rippers, jackhammers and drills, various clamps, forks, etc. Taking into account the above mentioned, as well as the complementary nature of the booms (construction of each of them allows for implementation of a complex of movements and operations that are unavailable to the other one), one can certainly say that the backhoe loaders are, perhaps, one of the most versatile types of construction equipment that can perform almost unlimited range of earth-moving, loading and unloading operations.
This section presents only the best deals that will help you to quickly and efficiently buy used backhoe loaders produced by Mecalac, NewHolland, Caterpillar, JCB, Komatsu, and other leading manufacturers.
