3. MECHANICAL INTERFACE (INSTALLATION DATA)

Sprocket Mounting: Typically 9-bolt or 10-bolt (Verify your sprocket bolt circle diameter).

Hydraulic Port Connections:

A & B Ports: Main flow (Forward/Reverse).

4. INTERNAL REPAIR COMPONENTS
If rebuilding the MAG-18VP unit:

Rotary Group: Cylinder block, 9 pistons, valve plate, and retainer plate.

Floating Seal (Duo-Cone): The main seal preventing gear oil from leaking out and dirt from entering.

Sun Gear & Planet Gears: Check for pitting on the 1st stage sun gear teeth.

Main Bearings: Large angular contact bearings supporting the outer hub.

5. MAINTENANCE PROTOCOL

Gear Oil Grade: SAE 90 or 80W-90 (API GL-4 or GL-5).

Oil Capacity: Approx. 0.4 – 0.6 Liters.

Check Interval: Every 250 hours.

Change Interval: Every 1,000 hours.

Warning: If gear oil appears milky, the floating seal has failed. If it appears dark and thin (like hydraulic fluid), the motor shaft seal has failed.
