If you decide to buy equipment at a low price, make sure that you communicate with the real seller. Find out as much information about the owner of the equipment as possible. Do not give consent to dubious pledges and prepaid goods. In case of doubt, do not be afraid to clarify details, ask for additional photographs and documents for equipment, check the authenticity of documents, ask questions.

При теневом методе контроля о наличии дефекта судят по уменьшению амплитуды УЗ-колебаний, прошедших от излучателя к приемнику . Чем больше размер дефекта или чем больше дефектов, тем меньше амплитуда прошедшего сигнала.
При зеркально-теневом методе признаком обнаружения дефекта служит ослабление амплитуды сигнала, отраженного от противоположной поверхности изделия. Дополнительными преимуществами этого метода по сравнению с теневым являются односторонний доступ и более уверенное обнаружение дефектов, расположенных в корне шва.
Для проведения контроля сварных соединений используются:
механическое устройство "Клещи" по ГОСТ 23858 (приложение 1);
механическое приспособление "Скоба" по СТО 02495307-002-2008 для сварных соединений, выполненных на стальных скобах-накладках там, где доступ с помощью приспособлений типа "Клещи" затруднен.
Дефектоскоп АРМС-МГ4 также может быть использован для контроля качества сварных стыковых соединений листового проката зеркально теневым методом при непосредственной установке ультразвуковых преобразователей без протектора по ГОСТ 14782.
С 1.11.2019 года освоен выпуск новой версии прибора с увеличенным цветным дисплеем, более эргономичным корпусом, удобным пользовательским интерфейсом.
Увеличение размеров дисплея позволило выводить одновременно как цифровые значения измеряемых параметров сигнала, так и графическое отображение ультразвукового импульса (А-скан).
